Anyone who has ever visited or lived in the Ruidoso area knows that there is plenty to do. Whether you enjoy skiing, golf, and other types of outdoor activities, there is something for everyone. However, the town is also a great place for anyone in search of excellent shopping and dining, and there are new plans in place that are set to make the area even better. Recently, a local business owner, Laura Warren, purchased the A-Frame shopping plaza and has plans to revitalize it.

Warren moved to the area from Texas two years ago, and initially took over My Sister’s Closet, a consignment store in the A-Frame plaza. She and her husband loved the town so much that they decided to buy the entire plaza, which includes several popular shopping and dining establishments. Some of the other businesses that currently reside in the area include K.C. Silver Jewelry, Nathalee’s Sweet Treats, and Chef Shawn’s Eatery.

There are a few vacancies in the area that Warren hopes to rent to other local business owners. She believes that Ruidoso is becoming more and more popular among tourists, and she sees the region as a wise investment. We happen to agree with her, and we are looking forward to even more great businesses opening up in the plaza.

Whether you are visiting Ruidoso or you already live here, there are many reasons to be excited about the future of the town. The next time you’re staying with us make sure you check out some of the great shopping and dining opportunities throughout the region, and of course don’t forget about the amazing outdoor activities that are available!
